FAQ Answers Below

DO MARKS MADE BY ETCH-O-MATIC MEET MIL. SPEC'S?
Yes!  Marks made by the
Etch-O-Matic meet ALL Military, Commercial Aircraft, NASA, U.S. Government, USAF, U.S. NAVY,  Atomic Energy Commission and all known Industrial Specifications.

DO MARKS MADE BY ETCH-O-MATIC CAUSE "STRESS" IN METAL?
NO!  The reason
that the Aircraft Industry and the Military use Electro-chemical marking is because the Marks DO NOT CAUSE ANY STRESS IN THE METAL being marked.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ETCH-O-MATIC MARKS AND OTHERS?
Marks made by Etch-O-Matic Are Exactly Like Marks made by even a $10,000 Etcher
In 99% of the cases.  On some Rare Exotic Metals You may want an "Expensive" unit But in Almost All cases you Do NOT Need it.  The main difference in Electro-chemical Marking is the "Dwell Time" (time in seconds it takes to Etch the Mark and the Depth of the Mark which is .0001" to .006").  The Expensive Etchers Mark in less time (about 1 to 4 Seconds Faster) then Etch-O-Matic and in some cases .003" Deeper.  If an average of 2 to 3 Seconds per Mark makes a difference with you than spend the money and buy an expensive etcher (or buy Two Etch-O-Matic's and place them side by side so that the operator is loading or unloading one while the other is etching.)

CAN I SEE A SAMPLE OF A MARK MADE ON MY PRODUCT OR TOOL?
YES!  We will be Happy to Sample Mark any Product or Tool You make.  Just send us Your Item and we will Mark It FREE and Return it to You by Return Mail or UPS.
